I got some more great guesses today for the contest:

chocolate bars - I’d definitely buy 24 of these on e-bay, given the chance.

nail clippers - in fact I did buy 72 pairs of discount nail clippers once, but I learned my lesson.  They were dirt cheap, but unfortunately they don’t clip nails.  If anyone with really fragile nails wants some clippers, let me know.

Also, I have a few more hints for you.

Hint #1: the 24 items are different brands.

Hint #2: One of the brand names ends in -en (like “hyphen,” not “hyph-en”)

Hint #3: it’s not food.
