Last Sunday (~11 days ago), I also awarded the winner of the “Guess What I Bought on Ebay” contest with his prize.

Just as a reminder, I bought 24 watches at a very reasonable price.  Most of them were not functioning, but only because they needed new batteries.  Fortunately, my father had made an impulse Ebay purchase several years ago, purchasing the tools necessary to open a watch to replace the battery, as well as an assortment of a few hundred watch batteries in different sizes.

So far, every watch that I have put a new battery in worked.  Many of them are a little on the slim side, but Craig, the contest-winner, has a larger wrist than I do, so I tried to select one that would fit.  Also, this watch was clearly the most notable of the lot.
