If you are from Minute to Win It, please visit this post or feel free to browse through August and September in the archives.
I apologize for the lack of activity. I am currently applying to be on a game show that is perfectly suited towards my skills and interests — inane games of skill using household objects. The show is called Minute to Win It. In my application, I linked to the blog, but I linked to a specific page rather than a specific post. So I had to refrain from posting to the blog, lest the page numbering get changed. Until my brother brilliantly suggested that I could just put a header on my posts directing the game show people to the relevant posts.
As most of you know, the blog is a fairly consistent source of news and activity, but August and September of 2009 had some highly concentrated activity. This spring, I have gone to four or five ice cream shops, narrowly missed reclaiming my international Boggle Championship, and visited two carnivals and one amusement park. I have also hosted a satellite Colinfest event (a perennial party celebrating myself). I have traveled to New Orleans, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boulder, Colorado, Fredericksburg, Virginia, and London, Ontario.
It has been a busy several months. I will do my best to catch you all up on some of the more notable events since March. And if I make it onto Minute to Win It, I will win a large sum of money and then embark on a larger-scale, better-funded amusement park and ice cream tour, donating hundreds of giant stuffed animals to children’s organizations across the country. Keep your fingers crossed.
